Our 6 Step Process
to Successful Floor Solutions

  • You’ll be assigned a dedicated project manager who will guide you through the process.
  • Our screed specialists will talk through your requirements, offer advice where appropriate, and provide recommendations as to materials, budget, and time-frames for completion.
  • Scheduling is always determined in discussion with our clients. Once we have agreed a deadline, we will guarantee that the process is put in place to meet it.
  • We provide detailed advice on preparations to the floor before we apply the screed, ensuring that it is waterproof, windproof and free from footfall.
  • Quality checks on the materials and their application will be carried out throughout the process, and anomalies will be dealt with immediately.
  • Sign-off occurs only when a detailed handover is complete, and the client has confirmed their satisfaction with the product, the process, and the high quality of the finish.

How it works

When it comes to underfloor heating, liquid screed performs two important functions. It prepares the surface for your floor covering, and it acts as a heating conductor, absorbing warmth from your pipework and evenly radiating it into the room above.

Liquid screed is particularly well-suited to the process of laying underfloor heating, because its pouring consistency negates the possibility of voids forming in the unfinished floor, which would hamper the heat conductivity. It’s quick to lay, suited to large area coverage, and dries fast.

Don’t just take our word for it…

Thank you for laying the screed this morning; your lads were top drawer.

L Johnson – Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Another quality flow screed completed for us by Carl and team. Carl always provides quotes, advice pre screed and ensures everything is completed properly on the day and tidies after. Will continue to use and recommend to other contractors or homeowners. Great service.

Sam Holman

Excellent service from our initial meeting until the job was complete. Carl was brilliant and knew exactly how to overcome the problems of poorly laid concrete as well as old tile and brick floors. Highly recommend Buxton flow screeds.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Buxton Flow Screeds for the screeding works at my property, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

From the very beginning, Carl and his team demonstrated exceptional professionalism and patience. They took the time to carefully explain every detail of the preparation work, ensuring both my builder and I fully understood the process and felt completely at ease.

What impressed me the most was Carl’s willingness to offer advice beyond the immediate scope of work. His genuine enthusiasm and dedication clearly showed that this is more than just a job to them, they take real pride in what they do.

Throughout the project, Carl has been more than just a contractor; he has been a trusted partner who always looks out for his clients’ best interests. Their work ethic, honesty, and friendly approach gave me full confidence that I was in good hands.

If you’re looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and truly professional screeding company, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Buxton Flow Screeds.
